Bloom in the Happy Places

I was not liking this painting about halfway through finishing it. I was going to title it "Bloom in the Broken Places."
A visit from my sweet 6-year-old granddaughter changed all that. She walked right up to my painting and said, "I love it. It's so happy." From that point forward, I started leaving the broken places in my heart and headed toward the happy places.
This painting is in honor of my little Zalena with her innocent and happy heart. She brings joy into every room she enters and helps remind me to see the happiness that surrounds me.
Suffering and sorrow try to overtake me, but happiness wins today. I am filled with joy as I look at this painting. We should all bloom and be restored in the happy places.

For His anger endureth but a moment, and in His favor is life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Psalm 30:5
