![]() Made some paper this week. I had a lot of journals that I needed to discard. Instead of shredding, I decided to follow some instructions on You Tube for protecting your identity. I got a large tub, filled it with torn up paper, poured boiling water over it. After soaking for a day, it made a nice pulp. I spread it out on a cookie sheet, used a rolling pin to roll it out, let it dry and it made a very textured paper. I plan to use it in an abstract painting. It was so much fun, I'm researching other ways to make paper and turn it into art. Who knew making paper would be such fun. The paper pulp makes a nice mulch for my little garden, too.
