The day has begun

The day has begun with prayer. The sins of yesterday confessed and forgiven. God blesses with each word of praise that comes from my lips. This day opens with darkness, but then the light begins to flow across His creation. Morning comes gentle and quiet seeping across the coolness of night. The sounds begin with chirps and breezes. As the earth opens her arms to receive the sun, God is present in each moment. The darkness is always defeated. The Lord is praised in each day. This day has begun. Oh glorious day. Oh, glorious Lord God.
