![]() In the Pink by Donna Ham When I began this painting, I wanted to create an interesting background. I used a palette knife for this effect. This small 8" x 10" oil painting is on a wood panel. This makes for a fairly smooth surface. It did have a few ridges that helped make the background have a little bit of a texture. This was a fun painting and I hope it brings joy to those who view it. Donna Ham, Artist I perhaps owe having become a painter to flowers. ~Claude Monet
