Bloom in the Wild Places 24" x 48" acrylic on textured wood panel Private Collection I am on a new journey and this painting represents the wilderness that I have been traveling through. Although the journey has been difficult, there are always places where beauty and joy transform the wilderness into a place to commune with God. This painting's title was inspired by a quote in the book "Hinds Feet on High Places," an allegory about fear, pride, anquish, loneliness and bitterness where sorrow and suffering are constant companions. Toward the end of the journey, sorrow and suffering become joy and peace. I hope you enjoy my latest painting, "Bloom in the Wild Places" and as you traverse this world and find yourself in the wilderness, remember to bloom in your own wild places and find grace and mercy in the presence of God. Donna Ham, Artist "The Lord God is my strength; and He will make my feet like hinds' feet, and He will make me to walk upon mine high places." Habakkuk 3:19 |
