I painted this for Jennifer, my friend and co-worker for her birthday. She is the "sunshine" in our office with her joyful spirit. The inspiration for the painting was an excerpt from a devotional by Frances L. Roberts.

"As you pray and meditate, you are enriched by the Spirit in the grace and compassion of Jesus Christ. Your soul is perfected as you kneel in His presence, even as a flower unfolds in the sunshine."
